Redhall Star Under 14s Lift the Colin Campbell Sports Cup at Peffermill

Big congratulations to our under 14s who lifted the Colin Campbell Sports cup after a 2-1 victory over Kelso on Monday evening.  Many of the boys have been at the Club since they were 7 years old and everyone at the Club is hugely proud of what they have achieved this year, flying high in the league, runners up in the David Innes cup and now getting their hands on well deserved Silverware!

Well done boys!  With the quality in the squad I'm sure there will be more trophies to come!

Redhall Star 2008s back after a successful trip to Flamingo Land Easter Tournament

The boys had a great time and competed well at the R&T Easter Tournament at Flamingo Land.  On the park, two good wins and two narrow defeats meant the  the boys went into the final group game knowing that a win would see them into the final if another result went their way.  Unfortunately it wasn't to be as Redhall lost out to eventual winners Easlington.  Off the park the boys enjoyed all the fun Flamingo Land had to offer!

Every one of the boys represtented Redhall Star to the highest standard and were a credit to the Club.  Well done boys, you made us all proud!

Defibrillator Now Located at Redhall Park Pavilion

Redhall Star would like to thank Harris Walker's (U14s) mum Andrea for her kind gift to the Club.  Our Defibrillator is located in the Club room and is fully automatic.  We urge everyone to familiarise themselves with how to use a defib so you have the confidence to use it should the situation arise.  Thanks Andrea, this gift has the potential to save lives but is one we hope we never have to use!

Redhall 2008s Launch Sticker Book

Redhall 2008s are raising funds for Winter Training by collecting stickers - of themselves!  Thanks for Teri (Jayden Duffill's mum) for arranging what must be the most fun Fundraising idea the Club has seen!  The Club would also like to say a big Thank You to Thistle Vets, who Teri works with, for Sponsoring the fundraiser, covering the cost of the Sticker Books, meaning maximum funds for the 2008s.  We're sure all of the boys will enjoy collecting the stickers and swapping their doublers, until they complete their album.

Watch us fill our album and see the photos on the 2008 Sticker Book page:-

Subscription Fees

Redhall Star Youth FC pride ourselves on providing affordable football for everyone.  For the first time since we formed in 2007 we feel we need to increase the subs in order to continue providing quality for all our members.  From August Subs for Small Sided Teams will increase to £20 per month and for 11-a-side teams to £25.  We still believe this provides the best value for money available in Edinburgh Youth Football.  Should any of our members feel they're unable to manage the monthly increase, please contact us and I'm sure we'll be able to come to an arrangement.  All playing and training kit is included in the monthly subs, and is replaced free of charge if it is damaged or when it becomes too small.   80% of subs will only be spent on your kid's team, with the other 20% going to the running of the Club.
